Steve Jobs is the Best Movie in Three Years

This week we’ve got five new movies. Four of the new movies bombed including The Last Witch Hunter, Jem and the Hollograms, Rock the Kasbah and Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs however according our resident film critic is the best movie in the last three years. The other three are pretty bad. Then we were invited by A24 to screen Room, so we sent Josh to Chicago and he thinks it was good but was hoping for great.

Top Five this week is biopics. We talk Raging Bull, Amadeus, Shindler’s List, Good Fellas, The Social Network, Love and Mercy, Straight Outta Compton, Good Night and Good Luck, Lawrence of Arabia, Frida, Milk etc

Our Undisputed Classic this week is Oliver Stone’s The Doors.

In 1985 we take on Krush Groove.

Our trailers this week are:

Cameron Diaz’s Shoulder

Welcome to The I Hate Critics Movie Review Podcast. This week Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton dethrone “Captain America 2” with “The Other Woman.” Both Sean and Josh turned their brains off and had a good time…I’m waiting for it to air on USA. Also The Raid 3: “Brick Mansion” came out, an attempt by the studio to cash in on a stars death. There was also this thing called “The Quiet Ones” that Sean really disliked…it was a found footage movie.

Our Undisputed Classic this week is “Midnight Express” with a surprise appearance by “The Shawshank Redemption.” I had never seen either of these movies and they’re both classics as far as I’m concerned but “Midnight Express” is a far superior movie.

In 1984 nothing of note came out

Trailers this week:

Let’s Be Cops
As Above So Below
Sex Tape
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For
The Love of Punch
