Welcome to this weeks episode of the I Hate Critics Podcast. This week we had four new movies. The Oscar nominated Danish Girl, the forgettable The Boy and The Fifth Wave and Dirty Grandpa which should have been really funny and obscene but instead it was just obscene and unfunny…but it gave us an excuse to make it a Robert DeNiro week.
Our Top Five this week is favorite Robert DeNiro movies. We talk Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, The Deer Hunter, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, Goodfellas, Casino and many more.
Our Undisputed Classic this week is Mean Streets, the movie that started it all for Martin Scorsese and Robert DeNiro.
In 1986 My Chauffeur and The Image Maker came out.

Welcome to the I Hate Critics Movie Review Podcast. This week we are joined by the two more promiscuous members of the Mommy’s Cocktail Hour Podcast Tawny and Lindsay. They went and saw “50 Shades of Grey” to at least give us a female perspective on the film and we’re guys and we’re dumb. The movie wasn’t made for us but maybe it was made for them. A movie that was made for us was “The Kingsman.”
Inspired by the buzz that is “50 Shades of Grey” we chose “The Last Tango in Paris” as our Undisputed Classic.
1985 – A lot came out but only “The Breakfast Club” matters

Welcome to the I Hate Critics Movie Review Podcast. This week Sean Josh and I are joined by Michael Carlson host of the The Awesome 80’s Podcast www.theawesome80s.net. Michael joined us to talk about the 30th Anniversary of both “Ghostbusters” and “Gremlins.” He also went out and saw the new Tom Cruise Flick “Edge of Tomorrow.” The big movie this week was “The Fault in Our Stars” or as we affectionately refer to it as the girl movie.
Our discussion of Does This Hold Up? started with “American Beauty” and ended with “South Park.” Sean doesn’t like it, I love it, Josh is somewhere in the middle.
