This week we’ve got two new movies. Our first movie is the latest installment in the James Bond universe and that’s Spectre. Our resident film critic didn’t not like it, but neither did our resident Bond fan. In fact we spend most of the movie going through the history of James Bond and picking it apart and talking about what works, what worked and what’s wrong. We then move on to The Peanuts Movie which Sean and I both adored, but I couldn’t help troll it a little….just a little.
Top Five this week is Peanut Movie/specials and or James Bond films. We talk about about them all so get ready.
For our Undisputed Classic this week Josh assigned each of us a Bond movie to watch, so we took on Goldfinger, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and The World is Not Enough.
In 1985 we don’t really take on anything but That Was Then This is Now came out.
Our trailers this week are:
Alice Through the Looking Glass
London Has Fallen
Star Wars The Force Awakens – Japanese Trailer
Star Wars The Force Awakens Honest Trailers
Welcome to the I Hate Critics Movie Review Podcast. This week Sean Josh and I are joined by Michael Carlson host of the The Awesome 80’s Podcast www.theawesome80s.net. Michael joined us to talk about the 30th Anniversary of both “Ghostbusters” and “Gremlins.” He also went out and saw the new Tom Cruise Flick “Edge of Tomorrow.” The big movie this week was “The Fault in Our Stars” or as we affectionately refer to it as the girl movie.
Our discussion of Does This Hold Up? started with “American Beauty” and ended with “South Park.” Sean doesn’t like it, I love it, Josh is somewhere in the middle.
