Welcome to the I Hate Critics Movie Review Podcast.
It’s award season and the holiday season so a shit ton of movies came out. “The Interview” was the one we were all talking about and it sort of came out…on demand. “Unbroken” surprised the box office and may have injected some new life into itself. The “imitation Game” is a solid movie that would be better if it didn’t have so much hype behind it. “Into the Woods” flat out sucks and might be one of the worst movies of the year. “Big Eyes” is a solid effort by Tim Burton and “The Gambler” is a good movie that everybody has forgotten about.
This week Sean Defends his love for the Academy Award Winning “Chicago” which doesn’t really make sense but Josh and I don’t like musicals so we made him do it.

Welcome to the I Hate Critics Movie Review Podcast. This week Sean Josh and I are joined by Michael Carlson host of the The Awesome 80’s Podcast www.theawesome80s.net. Michael joined us to talk about the 30th Anniversary of both “Ghostbusters” and “Gremlins.” He also went out and saw the new Tom Cruise Flick “Edge of Tomorrow.” The big movie this week was “The Fault in Our Stars” or as we affectionately refer to it as the girl movie.
Our discussion of Does This Hold Up? started with “American Beauty” and ended with “South Park.” Sean doesn’t like it, I love it, Josh is somewhere in the middle.
