We’ve got five new movies this week: The Fantastic Four, Ricki and the Flash, Shaun the Sheep, The Gift, and Irrational Man. The Fantastic Four was boring and poorly directed but the director blames the studio and oh yeah Josh liked it. Both The Gift and an Irrational Man are must sees according Sean. I wish I could go see both of these. Sean sold them well. Rick and the Flash received mixed reviews on the show. Sean really disliked it and Josh really liked it. Because of Ricki and the Flash we asked our audience what their top five favorite movies about rock n roll. Included in those lists is Almost Famous, Once, This is Spinal Tap, Rock n Roll High School, High Fidelity, School of Rock, The Runaways, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Blues Brothers, The Harder They Come, Begin Again, La Bamba, Empire Records and The Doors.
Our Undisputed Classic is A Hard Day’s Night
In 1985 Summer Rental, Mr Science Project, Dance with a Stranger
Our trailers this week are:
Deadpool Red Band

Welcome to The I Hate Critics Movie Review Podcast. This week Liam Neeson beats Jesus and they both beat the Lego Movie. Liam Neeson comes back with “Non-Stop” which is basically “Taken” on a plane. It’s dumb but fun. “Son of God” is a bunch of Hollywood types cashing in on Christians. They’ve released a terrible product knowing that Christians will buy it. “Son of God” is a repackaged version of the TV Miniseries “The Bible.” They’ve already seen it and they’re going out to see it again.
Oh and “Anchorman 2” was rereleased for a week and this time it was rated R.
You chose our Undisputed Classic this week and you chose David Fincher’s “Fight Club.” We broke rules number 1 and 2 and we talk about “Fight Club.”
In 1984 “Against All Odds,” “Repo Man” and “This is Spinal Tap” was released. Josh really hates “Against All Odds” and Bob and Sean like “This is Spinal Tap” and “Repo Man” is a movie I guess.
Trailers this week:
Art of the Steal
Josh and Bob watched a bunch of movies this week. “The Dallas Buyer’s Club,” “American Hustle,” “12 Years a Slave,” “Blue Jasmine,” “Nebraska” and more. At the end of the show we talk about these again.
We at I Hate Critics wanted yet another reason to hand out a bonus episode because podcasting is fun and what better reason than Thanksgiving?
The problem is there aren’t a lot of Thanksgiving themed movies out there so we decided we’d pick a handful of movies to give thanks to. This time we invited our podcasting friends to contribute as well.
This episode you’ll hear from:
Nick Seuberling of Who Dey Weekly/Irish Impact and the SPNT Podcasting network.
Jeff Lassiter of Killer Queens from Outer Space
The ladies of Mommy’s Cocktail Hour
The Cub from Ivy Envy
