Equal Pay for Women

Captain America 3: Cival War casted.
Women are under paid in Hollywood

This week only one new movie came out and it was “Hot Pursuit” starring Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara. It’s not a great movie but that mixed with a series of articles lead us to the discussion of equal pay for women in Hollywood. We try to explain why they’re not paid equally but ultimately come back to the fact that they should be. It’s not just Hollywood, it’s all over the world, but why not start in Hollywood at least.

Our Undisputed Classic was actually a Cult Classic Guantlet that Sean laid down before Josh and I. We were tasked to check out the Netflix Cult Classic section and each check out a movie for the first time. Sean loved “Goon,” I appreciated and “Reanimator” and Josh loathed “Wet Hot American Summer” despite the fact that both Sean and I love the flick.

Happy Thanksgiving Bonus Episode

We at I Hate Critics wanted yet another reason to hand out a bonus episode because podcasting is fun and what better reason than Thanksgiving?

Happy Thanksgiving

The problem is there aren’t a lot of Thanksgiving themed movies out there so we decided we’d pick a handful of movies to give thanks to. This time we invited our podcasting friends to contribute as well.

This episode you’ll hear from:

Nick Seuberling of Who Dey Weekly/Irish Impact and the SPNT Podcasting network.

Jeff Lassiter of Killer Queens from Outer Space

The ladies of Mommy’s Cocktail Hour

The Cub from Ivy Envy

Some of the movies we talk about include:

Rocky, Finding Nemo, Summer of Sam, Dumb & Dumber, Almost Famous, Once, Black Christmas, Casablanca, Clerks, Newsies, Empire Records, Cars, Wizard of Oz, Space Balls, Mary Poppins, The Shawshank Redemption, Wet Hot American Summer, The Color Purple, Magnolia, Rushmore, The Big Lebowski, They Live, The Thing, Best in Show, This is Spinal Tap, Grumpy Old Men, High Fidelity, Fishing with Gandhi
